Terms & Conditions

By browsing or using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the site.

This privately owned site has no affiliation with Benton County, a sheriff, jail, corrections department, or other government body. Neither this site nor its advertising partners offers an FCRA-covered service for credit, employment, insurance, or tenant screening. The site is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

Nature of the Site

This is a private reference that points visitors to Benton County and Oregon custody and release resources. It stores no official jail, release, court, or corrections record. We cannot confirm custody, release a person, file a record request, or act for a user before an agency.

Some pages also connect visitors with third-party research tools. Those tools operate under their own terms, prices, and data practices.

Acceptable Use

Use must remain lawful and must not interfere with another person or the service.

  • Do not break any law through use of the site.
  • Do not stalk, harass, threaten, or harm another person.
  • Do not use content for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another prohibited decision.
  • Do not seek unauthorized access to any account, server, or data.
  • Do not operate bots, scrapers, or automated extraction tools.
  • Do not disrupt access for other visitors.

No Consumer Reports

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It supplies no background check, credit report, consumer report, or screening service. Advertising and search partners do not turn site content into an approved FCRA service. You agree not to use information from this site or a linked tool for any FCRA-covered purpose.

  • Hiring, firing, or other employment decisions
  • Tenant selection or housing screening
  • Creditworthiness, lending, or insurance pricing
  • Licensing, permits, or government-program eligibility
  • Any other decision regulated by the FCRA

Links and Government Records

Links lead to sheriff and corrections pages, release records, government portals, legal resources, and outside search services. A link is not an endorsement. We do not control the destination’s content, uptime, security, or handling of data, and visitors should review its terms. Oregon agency access remains subject to Oregon Public Records Law, ORS 192.311 through 192.478, plus applicable exemptions and agency procedures.

No Warranties

All material is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant accuracy, completeness, currency, uninterrupted operation, freedom from errors or security flaws, or completeness of partner search results.

Custody status and public records change often. Nothing published here is an official statement from the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, ODOC, a court, or another government agency.

Liability Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, or use of an outside tool.

Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold the site, its operators, and content partners harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use, your submitted material, or your violation of these terms.

Intellectual Property

Site text, graphics, logos, and code belong to Benton County Released Inmates or the applicable content partner. They may not be copied, distributed, republished, or modified without prior written permission, except where law permits.

Changes and Access

These terms may be revised at any time, and a new version takes effect when posted. Access may also be limited, suspended, or revoked at any time and without advance notice.

Oregon Law

Oregon law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Oregon.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms stay effective. The affected provision will be adjusted only as far as needed to make it enforceable.
